Copenhagen Marathon – an event for all of Copenhagen
Thanks to the many enthusiastic spectators encouraging and supporting the runners along the marathon route, Nykredit Copenhagen Marathon has become a major event that involves the entire city of Copenhagen.
For this year’s marathon we are bringing the entertainment up a level further. With the runners passing by at least 35 on course entertainment spots, we guarantee that the 20 May will be a genuine sports festival and street party.
You will be able to experience large rock choirs, young live bands, samba troups, salsa dancers, DJ’s, art, slacklining competition and much much more. Also, runners as well as spectators have the chance to take a refreshing dip in the harbour bath at Islands Brygge. The bath is open from 12.00 am – 4.00 pm.
Official Hot Spots
On top of this there will be 7 official hot spots along the course. Hot spots are excellent locations for watching and cheering the runners, and there will be music, entertainment and sale of coffee, foods and more. This is where the hot spots are located:
