Thanks to the many enthusiastic spectators encouraging and supporting the runners along the route, Nykredit Copenhagen Marathon has become a major city event.
For this year’s marathon we are gonna turn up the entertainment level even more. With at least 30 – 35 entertainment spots along the course, we promise that the 20 May will be a genuine sports festival and street party. You are gonna be able to experience large choirs, young live bands, samba troupes, and much more.
On top of this, there will be 4-5 hot spots along the course – these are excellent spots for watching and cheering the runners, and there will be music, entertainment and sale of coffee, foods and more. At this point already, we are able to reveal some of the bands and groups that will create a great atmosphere on the route:
Rockkoret – a Copenhagen rhythmic a cappella choir
Toscana – Carnaval and samba troupe
Paradisco – Disco, dancefloor and dj
Spectators can look forward to delicious coffee and healthy food from:
Kalles Kaffe – green, mobile coffee bar
Annes Gademad – Food catering of a red bike
Again this year we are cooperating with cafées along the route, that will offer special deals on marathon-brunch, coffee to go, and much more.
